What. A. Year.
This year has been a toughie. Now that we’re (finally!) on the home stretch, let’s take a deeeeeep breath.
Many of us are looking to 2021 with much anticipation. 2020 has dashed so many of our dreams, goals, and plans, even more the reason to make up for them in 2021, right?
Before we start making hasty, unachievable New Year’s resolutions, why not stop to reflect on the past year and have a little conversation with yourself?
Why do this?
- How often in your day-to-day do you get to reflect, and think deeply, on what’s happened?
- It’ll set you up for the new year, and propel you into the new year with assured readiness.
- You’ll feel greater joy, gratitude for what you have, and love for yourself and others around you.
- So before you rush to put a stop on this year, let’s look back and have a little introspection.
Reflections – where have you been?
- In one sentence, write out what 2020 was for you.
- What are two of the biggest take aways (lessons) from 2020?
- What goals/dreams came true in 2020?
- What new things did you discover about yourself in 2020?
- How did you show up this year in the following categories:
- Your relationship
- Your work/career
- With other people
- What three habits did you have in 2020 that you could do without?
- What three habits did you have in 2020 that worked for you?
- Who are some of the epic people that came into your life in 2020?
- What are you most proud of in 2020?
- What was out of balance for you in 2020?
- Knowing what was out of balance, how would you now restore the balance?
- What are you most grateful for in 2020?

We at Leap had a go at answering these questions, because we want to build on the lessons of 2020 to make 2021 a wild success for our members, our team, and our community!
Intentions – what is your new direction?
- What three words would you choose to show up this year?
- What is your vision for 2021?
- What are you most excited for/looking forward to in 2021?
- What are five things you would do differently this year?
- Of those five, what one thing is absolutely necessary that you change?
- What vision do you have in 2021 for the following categories:
- Your relationship
- Your friendships
- Your career
- List three words that describe how you would like to show up in all of the above categories this year?
- What self care practices do you need to support yourself this year?
- What do you want to be saying about 2021 when you get to the end of 2021?
- Write out an affirmation to walk into 2021 with, and then voice it loudly five times.
