How does a busy mum of 2 young boys, a full-time employee, with a husband who travels frequently from home, manage to find time for her exercise?
Not having the time is one of the top reasons we give for being inactive. But if Olivia can find the time to squeeze in regular exercise in her day, the rest of us really have no excuse at all.
Growing up in a sporty family, being active has always been an integral part of Olivia’s life. She plays touch footy, netball, does personal training, as well as a few classes at Leap each week!
After having her boys, the stress and sleep deprivation of being a mother took some time for her to get back to her exercise. Returning to work gave her the opportunity to utilise her lunch break to squeeze in some exercise.
Now exercise is stress release and a much-needed mental break for her.
Her advice for other mums: start out easily, do what works for you, and don’t feel pressured from others. Leap offers a wide range of technique and exercises in its classes, that accommodate any fitness level and mobility levels. Be sure to give Leap a call!
