Congratulations to our Member of the Month!
My name is Kylie and I’ve been a member of Leap Health and Wellbeing for nearly 2 years now! During this time, I’ve graduated from university and started working full time and have had Leap to support me the entire way.
Before I came to Leap, I had no relationship with exercise, and so many excuses (that weren’t valid) not to do it.
I was tired and tense all of the time and really stressed out. An older friend of mine said that all of these aches and pains only got worse as we aged, which was the push I needed to do something about it. I googled studios in my area and found Leap.
From my very first Reformer Pilates class, I fell in love!
It was really hard at first, and I struggled to keep up, but what I liked about Leap was that it never felt like I had to pay attention to what anyone else was doing – I could just work on me and improve my strength.
However, that doesn’t mean that no one cares about anyone else! I love that we’re a really warm community at Leap, and that the teachers and members all support and care for each other.
One of my big breakthroughs in exercise wasn’t a plank or a push up. It was when I realised that I actually wanted to come, and that I wasn’t making excuses not to. Leap was making me feel happier, so I wanted to be here as much as I could.
Now, I come to 4 or 5 classes a week, and can’t see myself ever leaving.
I’ve never regretted a moment of my time here. I always feel like it’s time well spent, and never wasted.
I’m even moving to Castle Hill, and I still want to keep coming, as Leap is a part of my life.
