Karen’s story –
Karen is one of our most committed members at the studio. Before she joined Leap mid-way through 2019, she had always felt her health was lacking and never a number one priority.
While she was going to a Yoga class once a week, she felt as though she needed to do more for her body, and that’s when she summoned the courage to come to Leap.
From the start, Karen has been keen to learn the proper technique, impressing teachers with her insightful questions and mindful movement.
Within a few months of Pilates, Yoga and Barre classes, she has noticed a marked improvement in her muscle strength and stamina. She also found that her energy levels and mood have lifted.
She found that coming to a studio with small classes helped her improve her movement quality and has been increasing the number of classes she attends every week!
Karen’s latest goal was to increase the number of Functional Training classes she attends (much to our Functional Trainer, Karla’s and Eliza’s delight), which she has attacked with as much zeal as she has her other movement goals.
