And yet over 70% of Australians aren’t getting enough exercise.
For those wanting to get active, the stats aren’t encouraging either.
For those who start in January – 14% will quit before the end of Feb, and 80% will quit within 5 months.
Maybe you know what I’m talking about, because a lot of us have experienced this start-stop yo-yo exercise pattern.

You typically start strong - 'nothing can stop me this time'!
A few weeks in, the novelty wears off. Your body is aching. It’s that much harder to motivate yourself to exercise.
This is also the time when work gets super busy or the kids need extra attention from you.
You keep going some more, but your visits have dropped, and you’re putting in half the effort while you’re working out. You tell yourself, ‘I’ve had a long day so my body is tired’.
Another few weeks go by, you're barely exercising once a week.
You think to yourself - why do I bother? I haven’t lost any weight; I still look the same; I still feel the same. It isn’t working for me.

At our Back2Basics Beginner Exercise Workshop, we're going to show you -
- How to avoid the 5 COMMON mistakes exercise beginners make that see them quit after a few short weeks!
- Beginner-friendly strength exercises that you CAN do! Can’t hold a plank? That’s ok! We’ll show you something that you can do instead.
- Have some fun with dumbbells, and have a go on the Reformer Pilates machine!

You’ll be with a small group of people just starting out, like you. So no need to worry about –
- looking silly in front of the ‘advanced people’ because you’re new
- possibly hurting yourself because you haven’t exercised in a while
- intensity of the exercise overwhelming your body
