Hatha, meaning the balance between the sun and the moon, is a free flowing and physically challenging style of Yoga. This class is perfect for those who are looking for an activity in which they can completely channel their energy. Expect to feel revitalised at the end of the class.
Our Open Yoga class is suitable for Yogis of all levels. You are encouraged to explore your yoga practice within your experience level. We will help you build flexibility, strength, stability by syncing breath, alignment and movement in this flow based class. Practice varies each week as we explore different aspects of Yoga, so expect something new in each class!
Move and connect with the breath, expect to flow through a dynamic practice of sun salutations and a creative combination of standing and balancing postures, forward bends and backbends, inversions and balances, twists and hip openers, ending with deep relaxation.
Yang Yoga is typically a Vinyasa (or Flow) style of movement-filled and active Yoga. Yin is a slower paced style of Yoga with postures that are held for longer periods of time. The poses work directly with the connective tissues of the body – the tendons, fascia, and ligaments – with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility and range of motion. It is ideal for people who do a lot of physical activities such as gym workouts, running, and Pilates, as well as people who do a lot of desk work, to release a build-up of muscle tension.
Yin-Yang Yoga is a perfect blend between vigorous Vinyasa Flow (Yang), and restful Yin. The class is 60 minutes long, beginning with 30-minutes of dynamic Flow Yoga of moving Sun Salutations, standing poses, to warm and challenge the muscles.
The Yang practice is then followed by a slow and relaxing sequence of reclined or sitting poses, Yin, allowing the body to open and the muscles to lengthen.
This is a well-rounded Yoga experience for Yogis of all levels, and will leave you feeling extremely BALANCED!

A class designed to counteract the discomforts of prolonged sitting with the help of Yoga. This weekly class will take you through a program targeting key problem areas experienced by office workers who sit for long periods of time, such as tight neck and shoulders, lower back pain, hip discomfort.
