FUNCTIONAL TRAINING

Expect Functional Training to be a fast-paced, high-intensity workout that will get your heart pumping, and calories dropping.

Our Functional Training class is a combination of cardio and strength exercises derived from everyday movements.

We focus on efficient movement patterns, correct muscle recruitment, and breathing to help you move better in daily activities e.g. running after your children, carrying heavy shopping bags.  In other words, the exercises that you do in Functional Training are, highly functional!

Functional Training will improve your fitness and strength levels to achieve good long term results.

Our Functional Training classes are different to those that you may know, or have been to, because –

We cap our Functional Training classes at 12 people per class to ensure that our members get more room to move, and get full attention from our instructors.

Functional Training Class in Chatswood

Are you a beginner? No problem! We cater to different experience levels in class.

Functional Training Master Class

Functional Training Master Class is led by our highly experienced Exercise Physiologist, and is suitable for people of all fitness levels, particularly beginners.  We focus on correct muscle recruitment and posture, to ensure the exercises are done safely, and correctly to optimise results. You will feel breathless, you will sweat, you may even feel a little sore the next day, but you will keep on coming back because you’ll love how invincible you feel after each Functional Training class!

Functional Training

The regular Functional Training classes are more physically challenging – the pace is faster, the intensity is higher, and there are less breaks.  We will push your fitness and endurance boundaries without compromising on form or muscle recruitment. So bring your towel and water bottle, we’ll see you in Functional Training!

Our classes are programmed by instructors with backgrounds in Exercise Physiology, Personal Training, and Pilates.  In our Functional Training classes, our instructors place paramount focus on correct muscle recruitment and alignment.  Through their coaching, you will develop impeccable form and body awareness.
